We walked in early morning to get some breakfast, my buddy ordered and the food was not to good. He tasted it and threw it away. Will not return.

Being a San Diego native, I can vouch for good Mexican food, and even more so good carne asada fries, but this Rigoberto's ain't it.
Although the quantity you get is abundant af, the quality is really lacking here, to put it in layman's terms- the quality ain't shit. The only time this joint might come in clutch is after a night of hard drinking and/or partying and you're craving some greasy ass Mexican food. Being a little inebriated might actually make the food taste okay but I digress...
Don't come here unless you have to, I'm not down for rubbery, tasteless, colorless carne asada and neither should you, no matter how drunk you are..unless you're into that. You're better off going to the Del Taco drive through across the street IMO.

This is a simple, humble place with tasty food. Tried their hardshell beef tacos with a side of rice and beans. Order was ready quickly. Inside of the restaurant is nothing fancy, definitely more of a spot for take-out. But I will definitely be back.

Ok Mexican food...since I'm Mexican I expect more taste and this place doesn't provide that.
I will say however that their carne asada fries are the bomb...
